Harken Health was created to disrupt the current insurance health care model, which is complex and painful for many. So in order to do things right, we wanted to first understand what was currently wrong. We visited clinics, talked to staff and became part of the centers' weekly meetings.
The main takeaway was a deep need for human connection in a system that has been starved of it. Because while all insurance companies claim peace of mind, they offer very little of it. Launching human-centric care meant re-gaining people's trust. Reimagined healthcare started with showing customers that, to Harken, they are more than numbers and that health insurance should be more than just a card.
